Each item narrows the effort range. The more you can tick, the more precise any estimate becomes.
- An inventory of integrations, with owners and business criticality
- The runtime or product version of each, and its support dates
- The source and target systems at each end of every integration
- Custom code, scripts and transformations that will need rewriting
- Contract end date, notice period and the renewal uplift you were quoted
- A first wave of low-risk integrations to move and prove the approach
